Registration for the 2nd edition of the workshop “Ethnographic Filmmaking. Training and Memory” organized by AntropicA is open!
The training course, with 10 places available, is free of charge as it is the winner, for the second time, of the VitaminaG call for proposals within the GenerAzioniGiovani.it program funded by the Politiche Giovanili of the Regione Lazio with the support of the Dipartimento per la Gioventù.
The workshop is intended for young people aged 20 to 35: university students, unemployed youth, NEETs, but it is open to anyone who wants to learn in a few months the techniques of documentary filmmaking, those who have a story to tell and do not know how to do it, those who would like to experiment with filmmaking and do not know where to start.
The meetings will be held from March to October 2023 at the Nelson Mandela Library, 21 Via La Spezia, in the San Giovanni neighborhood; the course is aimed at creating the pitch for the ethnographic documentary project, which participants will have the opportunity to present at the MedFilm Festival – XXIX edition. Filming will take place throughout the East quadrant of Rome…where the heart will take us.
To apply, you must send a cover letter and CV, by Feb. 12, 2023 to film.antropica@gmail.com (applications without the required documentation cannot be considered).
More information can be found in the workshop section!
