Anthropology for cinema
Antropica is an independent cinema production company made by people with the passion for documentary movies. The long experience of the founders in the field of visual anthropology, with a focus on ethnographic filmmaking, brought to the production of documentary films that put together a scientific approach with the capacity to spread contents and narrate stories to a wide audience. Travelling around the world collecting stories of minorities, workers, gender discriminations, migrants, people’s dreams and needs is the starting point of Antropica. We are based mainly in Italy and Vietnam.
Antropica is an innovative space of production and distribution for authors and filmmakers that want to realize documentary films with open mind to the world and attentive to its transformations, especially in the border areas and in Southern countries.
Antropica provides also professional training in the field of ethnographic filmmaking addressed to all those who want to engage new audiovisual adventures, with a strong research perspective.
